Years since the pandemic, workers in global garment supply chains are still fighting for back wages and severance that they are owed but never received. Clean Clothes Campaign, alongside 280+ organisations around the world, is advocating through the "Pay Your Workers" campaign for a plan that ensures that brands will never leave workers penniless again. This campaign has ensured factories and brands paid over 40 million in wages and severance that workers were owed, but eventually it wants brands to agree to a structural solution. The next crisis is around the corner and we have a plan to ensure workers are paid in case their factories close in the wage of the climate crises' floods and extreme weather. But to convince brands we need your support!
In 2024, we organise a series of impactful online training sessions, where we delved into why it is crucial to take action against these brands and in solidarity with the workers and demonstrate that our efforts can make a difference! We covered everything you need to know to create your own action, highlighting all the vital elements that lead to impactful actions.
